I started Fille de Ferme in the early autumn of 2011, but it was really begun when I was a child growing up in the bucolic farm town of Hollis, New Hampshire. My love of fresh fruit was fed during warm summer mornings picking strawberries at Brookdale’s Fruit farm.
With fingers stained red I would race home with a basket full of the little rubies, my mother waiting with her copper pot to make them into the most amazing jam. I’d stand by her side just as she once stood by her mother’s side watching and learning. My hope is that you too, Mon ami, will taste the love and honesty of my traditionally made food and drink.
